About Lanz Furnace

lanz furnaceIn 1855, A. Lanz & Sons started the business Wagons & Stoves in Monroe, WI.  As the years passed on, so did the business to Herman Lanz and the next generation of Lanz’s.  In 1925, Lanz Sheet Metal brought on the Lennox furnace line and to this day remains the major product brand that we carry.  On October 10, 1988, James “Bud” and Carol Lanz sold Lanz Sheet Metal & Heating to Andy Wilke.  Although it changed hands at that point, the name stayed the same.

In April of 1998 Dave Kammerer began working for Lanz Sheet Metal & Heating as a service technician and continued into installation, managing and sales roles.  During that time, the name changed to Lanz Furnace & Fireplace as the hearth product line was added to the business.  On May 1, 2010 David & Carissa Kammerer bought Lanz Furnace & Fireplace.  They have brought back the family feel to the business.  As the time passes, one thing still remains; “the quality craftsmanship, workmanship and pride that was passed along through the generations.”

Lanz FamilyTo this day David, Carissa and the Lanz team are continuing to grow the business and carry the Lennox heating and cooling line as the primary product.  In striving to keep this legacy of the oldest heating and cooling company in Green County going, you can expect honesty, integrity and quality craftsmanship when working with Lanz Furnace & Fireplace.
We hope you join the Lanz family of customers so you can see what excellent family-oriented service is all about!
