Our Story

Lanz Furnace & Fireplace has been part of Monroe since 1887 — started by A. Lanz & Sons as a wagons and stoves business, and operating continuously ever since. We added the Lennox furnace line in 1925, and in 1998 we expanded into fireplaces to give Monroe homeowners a single trusted source for heating, cooling, and hearth products.



David and Carissa Kammerer have owned Lanz Furnace & Fireplace since May 2010. Both are Monroe residents. Under their ownership, the business has grown while holding onto what made it last more than a century: honest work, quality installs, and service that treats customers the way neighbors treat each other.


In 2024, we received the Lennox Dealer Century Award — presented to Lennox dealers who have maintained the partnership for 100 or more years. We're one of a small number of dealers in the country to have earned it. That recognition reflects 100 years of Lennox installations across Green County homes, and the long-term trust that makes them possible.
